Teresa has been a care provider since 1975, working with special needs children and adults at a residential facility.
In 1979 she began a nursing career and has worked in hospitals, home health care, rehabilitation, and long term care settings.
In 2000, Teresa graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and has had a private practice, makes visits to group homes, and has been working in retirement/long term care facility for 20 plus years, providing therapeutic massage for residents and staff using a variety of techniques.
Since 2008, Teresa has been working with The Care Collaborative team as a nurse instructor in the Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide training programs. She continues her work with The Care Collaborative as a massage therapist in the Giving Back Massage Therapy program.
Teresa looks forward to working with the direct care workers and the general population. She finds it very rewarding to be a part of her clients relaxation, stress reduction, gentle touch, and self care awareness in this profession.
